All THAT is an afterschool mentoring program that has partnered with the Columbus City Schools and The Mentoring Center of Central Ohio to provide extended learning opportunities to thirty economically disadvantaged students in the Walnut Ridge High School area (43227). Our program helps young people grow as healthy, caring, principled, and productive people. We collaborate with numerous organizations in the City of Columbus to help improve the graduation rate, lower teen violence and ultimately improve the quality of life in our community.
Our MISSION is to mentor teenaged youth – helping to improve their academics, social skills and relationships with others. We strive to not only expose our participants to the world of work and potential career paths, but we promote and highlight the skills they will need to succeed.
Our GOAL is to provide a long-term, trusting, relationship based environment for teenaged youth while helping them transition into the world outside their neighborhood.
At All THAT we serve as a source of support to both parents and school officials in the City of Columbus and we give students the support they need to finish high school that they may not receive from any other source. Our research has shown that students who do not graduate are more likely to receive public assistance, experience considerably higher unemployment, more likely to become unwed mothers, more likely to be incarcerated and ultimately more likely to become a fiscal burden on society.
